We are seeking individuals that are interested in learning about Marketing & Communications.
- Marketing & Communications interns will assist with various fields within the department to promote programs presented by FFAC.
- Interest in Fashion & Arts scene.
- Hours per week: 10-15
Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications and Marketing Associate to execute brand strategy planning, outreach and production. Projects may include materials development, media outreach, community outreach, event marketing, research, advertising calls, editing, drafting and more.
Work with FFAC staff to design promotional materials for upcoming events, including advertisement, web banners, posters, postcards, etc. The design intern will utilize design templates in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, as well as have the opportunity to create new templates for future projects. The ideal candidate will have prior graphic design experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite.
Social Media Intern
Assist FFAC staff with promoting FFAC programs and events online, via Twitter, Facebook, Google + and other social media platforms. Research online
content and audiences relevant to FFAC events. Knowledge of Hootsuite and basic HTML. Experience creating digital audio and video content a plus.
Work with FFAC staff and publicist to increase awareness of FFAC programs and events within local and regional media, including online, print, radio and television. Write press releases and articles for upcoming performances. Update event listings on local and regional websites. Collect and organize press clips. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel required. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills.
